Long-Term Care Compliance on AHLA Program Agenda

Leaders in the long-term care industry will convene in New Orleans, LA, to participate in the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) Long-Term Care and the Law program February 28-March 2, 2018. With a focus on hot-topic issues from across the post-acute care field, sessions will include speakers from all facets of the long-term care industry, including many in-house and outside attorneys, who will discuss the legal, compliance, and operational issues providers often face.

A few of the topics the program will address include:

  • Responding to Disaster: Attributes of a Prepared Nation
  • Electronic Devices, Monitoring, and Social Media in the Long-Term Care Facility
  • Protecting the Castle: Avoiding, Addressing, and Mitigating Ransomware
  • Understanding and Analyzing CMS’ Proposed Rule Revising the Medicare/Medicaid Requirements for Long-Term Care Facilities

PYA continues its partnership with AHLA as a program sponsor.

If you would like more information about compliance and operational issues related to long-term care, or to request a speaker on these topics for your organization or event, contact one of our PYA executives below at (800) 270-9629.
