On-Demand Webinar: “COVID-19 Waivers: What Providers Can and Can’t Do”

UPDATE REGARDING WAIVERS: Late on March 30, an Interim Final Rule, updated Section 1135 waivers, and Stark Law blanket waivers were published. We are working diligently to update our content regarding these matters.

CMS now has the authority under Section 1135 of the Social Security Act to waive certain Medicare and Medicaid regulations to ensure access to care during the COVID-19 National Emergency. PYA Principal Martie Ross and Senior Manager Kathy Reep explained the scope of the blanket waivers CMS has issued since March 13 and the opportunities they present for providers. The program also looked at some of the requests approved by CMS for individual states. The speakers answered audience questions following their presentations.

This webinar was the second of a 2-part series. View Part I here.
