Opportunity
We provide the tools for talented individuals to Make Their Impact. During the first days of employment, each individual receives an introductory orientation. Additionally, recent hires undergo a full day of orientation on a semi-annual basis that is designed to provide new employees with an understanding of the core values and fundamental components that contribute to the success and uniqueness of PYA.

We have designed a formal mentoring program, GUIDE - Guidance, Understanding, Information, Direction and Encouragement. Through this program, each new employee meets periodically with an assigned Mentor. These scheduled meetings, as well as informal contact, foster the continuing development of the individual. Additionally, our staff level professionals are assigned a Peer Guide to ensure a smooth transition from campus to career.

Professional staff receive continuing education through nationally sponsored seminars and conferences, in-depth self-study, internal seminars and challenging assignments. Our formal education curriculum is designed to ensure the development of not only technical skills but soft skills, as well.

Promotions are based on the individual's performance and readiness for increased responsibilities. Individuals are not limited by the number of years that they have been employed, nor are they expected to perform at a level beyond their capability. It is this approach to an individual's career management that contributes to our uniqueness.
