Executive Management Team
Lara Owens
Lara Owens provides tax planning and compliance services to a wide variety of business organizations, individuals, and industries. Lara's primary areas of expertise are in multi-state, corporate and closely-held, small business operations. In addition, she routinely supervises financial statement reviews, assists in business valuations, researches complex tax issues, and provides support related to a variety of state and local business filings.
Lara is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Masters in Accountancy, concentration taxation. She is also a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, major accounting.
Lara currently serves as the Board Treasurer for Senior Citizens Home Assistance Service, Inc. and is a frequent volunteer for United Way of Knoxville.
Lara is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of CPAs and Tennessee Society of CPAs.
