Jim Lloyd
W. James (Jim) Lloyd provides business valuation, economic damages analysis, and related litigation consulting services to a wide variety of business organizations and their attorneys. Jim has extensive experience in connection with merger and acquisition transactions, commercial damages litigation, divorce litigation, joint ventures, and business succession planning. He also has significant experience with a wide variety of industries including healthcare, construction, manufacturing, real estate, transportation, and wholesale distribution.
Jim is a 1983 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Jim has also earned the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) credential (Business Valuation discipline) from the American Society of Appraisers, the Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) credential from the Institute of Business Appraisers, and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Jim has been recognized as an expert and has testified as such in connection with business valuation, economic damages and fraud related matters.
Jim is a frequent speaker on business valuation, fraud, and litigation consulting topics. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Society of Appraisers, Institute of Business Appraisers, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American College of Healthcare Executives, and Healthcare Financial Management Association.
