Amy DeLong
Amy DeLong provides tax planning and review to a wide variety of business organizations, primarily in the healthcare industry. Amy's primary areas of expertise include a comprehensive analysis of issues related to tax-exempt organizations, including private inurement/private benefit, tax compliance issues, and unrelated business income. Additionally, she provides expertise with regards to for-profit consolidated groups, mergers and acquisitions, and numerous issues pertaining to deferred compensation plans. She has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service, including the filing of applications for recognition of exempt status and coordination of the approval process.
Amy is a 1997 graduate of The University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, graduating summa cum laude. Additionally, she received her Master of Accountancy from The University of Tennessee in 1998. Amy is a Certified Public Accountant.
Amy is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and an alumni member of Beta Alpha Psi National Accounting Honors Fraternity.
