The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (“CMS”) has recently announced the extension of the application deadlines for Models 2, 3, and 4 of the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Initiative to 5:00 P.M., EDT, Thursday June 28, 2012. The online submission portal for applications will be available beginning the week of April 23, 2012. CMS will be utilizing the “Bundled Payment Listserv” to update applicants on the online portal, announcements, and conference calls. Hospitals and health systems can sign up here to receive e-mail updates from CMS through this listserv.
